Jeff - Operations Analyst

Tell us about your career so far with ECL.
I started with ECL about a year ago after previously spending almost a decade with a major competitor, it’s a refreshing change, which has shown me how two companies, can do things in completely different ways to provide a similar service.

Describe a typical day for you at work.
In my role as 'Operations Analyst’ it’s my responsibility to provide business enabling  information to my General Manager.  Running from a tight reporting schedule, as well as adhoc information presentation, I’m also tasked with looking deeper and finding ways to improve the information presented  which allows Managers to execute effective change within the business.

What do you most enjoy about your job?
I enjoy working with data, as weird as that might sound! I like to take information, cleanse & structure it, and present it in a clear and concise way that enables decision making.

What do you most enjoy about working for our company?
I like the range of career options presented to everyone within the group, there’s real room for career progression.

What opportunities do you see for yourself within the organisation?
I started my career as a parcel sorter, now I’m a Business Analyst, tomorrow I could be anything.

Tell us a bit about yourself, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Photography, kayaking, and I’m currently trying my hand with some ‘urban’ style art…. to mixed success.
